Eating and drinking is central to the Inn. The kitchen is in the charge of Mark Bristow, providing locally sourced food, served simply. Using local suppliers from Stockings Farm in nearby Denham who breed rare Gloucester Old Spot, to Kingcup Farm who supply beautiful vegetables.

Our menu changes daily and we bake our bread on site. For elevenses and afternoon tea, home baked biscuits and cakes, proper coffee and for those 'in between times' our menu includes plates of jugged kipper with brown bread or fruit cake with Cashel Blue. Our all day menu is served from 7am – 1pm, the restaurant menu from noon – 3pm, then 6-10pm. Our 'back room' overlooking the cobbled courtyard can accommodate up to 40 and be hired for gathering and feasting. In our front room we can seat 36, and 32 in our bar with snug corners.

For a quick and easy lunch with home cooked favourites: Slap Bang. Served Monday through to Saturday between 12-2pm.
